KUALA LUMPUR (politicsnowmy.blogspot.com) - House Arrest For Bossku?
Well some folks are up in arms about the backdoor fellow slipping in something about house arrest in an unparliamentary fashion.
It just keeps getting worse. There was that partial pardon of sorts for Bossku. His sentence was reduced. Even the fine has been reduced. All logic indicates that if you reduce his sentence at least increase the fine - he must pay more for being let go early from prison. But no this is anything goes land. Shorter jail term, lesser fine. Good boy.
Then the wife is trying to get the charges against her to be dropped. Anyone wants to guess what will be the outcome?
Then that other fellow got all the charges against him dropped. Not only that but he is No. 2 to backdoor.
Now this suggestion to pass some law about house arrest which will most likely see Bossku relaxing at home munching on his bag of Cheezels.
So how many of you are surprised? All this can happen not without your complicity and your approval. This is the fellow you voted for as your saviour. Remember? Now he is saving you.
Lets talk about something else. With so much shit going on, how many of you think that there are no other weird things going on in the country?
How many of you think there is no more corruption in this country? That your saviour has put an end to corruption. If you do, then please stick your finger up your @$$.
Everything is back to business as usual. Those widely publicised arrests and charges for corruption are not unwarranted. Lock them all up. You cannot disagree with that.
But I think they also serve as a deflection - to divert attention from other things that are still going on in the country. We will not know until there is a change in gomen. Then the new fellows will come in and start going after the thievery of the previous bunch. Let it happen. Who knows, some people may be going back to jail. This time they will simply throw away the key.
So do not complain too much. This is the fellow you voted for. Your saviour.
