KUALA LUMPUR (Politics Now!) - Opposition politician Saifuddin Abdullah scored massive points against former boss Anwar Ibrahim, accusing him of being a part-time Prime Minister, part-time Finance Minister but full-time 'yackety-yak' lecturer, good only at talking.
"As Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Noor said, Anwar lies whenever he opens his mouth, but nowadays, he even lies with his mouth closed," Saifuddin, a former minister from Bersatu, told a political rally.
CHAOTIC AS ANWAR NOT DOING HIS JOB, ONLY RELYING ON NON-MALAYS' FEAR OF PAS
The former foreign minister was in Bentong to campaign for the PN-PAS candidate in the October 7 Pelangai by-election.
Saifuddin said the government was now "chaotic" because Anwar was focusing on personal glory and relying on a fading charisma to cling to power.
"We have a premier, who some say is half prime minister and half finance minister," Malaysiakini reported Saifuddin as saying.
"He even does the finance minister role 'part-time'. What does he do full-time? Lecturing, talking."
PROVERBIAL 'TIN KOSONG'?
Saifuddin also expressed concern about the remarks made by Anwar on the global stage.
"I'm a former foreign minister, and I followed the prime minister's speech and I get nervous. I wonder if he thinks before he speaks; as if he's planning to change the country's foreign policy," said Saifuddin.

"Recently, at the United Nations General Assembly, he spoke about the Russian "invasion" of Ukraine and called for a resolution to the crisis.
"There are reasons why we (foreign) ministers don't use strong words, and we are careful with our words when it comes to international relations. But in his speech, he (Anwar) condemned Russia, and we (PN) have never done that."
NOT GOOD ENOUGH - ONLY 'JAGUH KAMPUNG' STANDARD
Indeed, Anwar did raise eyebrows playing to a gallery studded by U.S.-funded NGOs while also trying to suck up to China.
"Unfortunately, Anwar is not skilled enough and it is a pity as Saifuddin has pointed out for Anwar to be foolish enough to destroy Malaysia's neutral stance in the Ukraine crisis." a political commentator told Politics Now!
"At least the previous 2 prime ministers Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri knew better than to make an enemy of Putin and Russia. It's not just that Russia is a super-power but when you pick on Russia just to bootlick the U.S. in their proxy war to weaken Moscow, you not only align your own country on the wrong side of history but you might also step on Xi's tail."
"I wonder if Anwar has been briefed that several senior U.S. politicians have recently admitted Ukraine is indeed their proxy war to weaken Russia and they consider the aid given to Zelensky as very cheap compared to a conducting full frontal war with Russia. It is very incompetent of Anwar to flip-flop Malaysia's stance without researching his stuff."
