WORLD WAR 3 AT MALAYSIA'S DOORSTEP? - HAS PM ANWAR BEEN CAUGHT NAPPING BY 'SINISTER' BLACKROCK - AS US WAR DRUMS AT CHINA BEAT LOUDER - MOVING WW3 EPICENTER TO ASEAN

KUALA LUMPUR (politicsnowmy.blogspot.com) - Put aside greed and craze for power, anti-BlackRock protesters fumed in rage as Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim doggedly snubbed their call to U-turn on a deal that would lock the Southeast Asian country's airports, radar systems, runways and other crucial air facilities including passenger lists to US-linked interests and intelligence agencies for the next 45 years!

"Just as Malaysian Muslims intuitively understand BlackRock is bad news for the Palestine cause, Malaysian Chinese must wake up and understand that GIP and BlackRock are part of the anti-China, anti-BRI plot," Tian Chua, a former MP and current spokesman for the Palestine Solidarity Secretariat told PoliticsNow!

"The lease of our airports is for 45 years and this has also been warned by many geopolitical analysts, I believe a war will be orchestrated by the US against China. Malaysia will be dragged in by BlackRock. US will control our airports - all flights entering Malaysia will be decided by BlackRock via its unit GIP. They will also have access to passengers lists. Not to mention our radar systems which they can easily beef up to military grade as well as other equipment that can potentially be used in the South China Sea conflict, which many are already calling the real trigger to World War III." 

"So we must ask why does Anwar want to drag Malaysia into such a situation with a company as shadowy and sinister as BlackRock? If Anwar is not fully aware, he must have advisors who can brief him on the terrible danger he is putting Malaysia into and U-turn on the deal before our country is made use of to become another country's trigger for a global and historic catastrophe such as WWIII."

TRUMP'S SHOOTER, THE BLACKROCK LINK & ANWAR'S BRICS GAMBIT

Indeed, the murky deals that surround America's largest asset manager BlackRock, whose tentacles reach far and wide around the world, are not only extensive but well reported and documented even in its home country. For example, the 20-year-old shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks who tried to assassinate former president Donald Trump had featured in a BlackRock commercial that aimed to trumpet and justify its monopoly over the retirement assets of over a third of American public school teachers.    

"Do we really want this type of company in our country? The shooter who tried to kill Trump appeared in a BlackRock commercial in 2022. Say no to BlackRock, say no to the culture of violence," said Tian.

Ironically, the publicity-loving Anwar had rushed to catch a slice of the international limelight by sagely advising American leaders that violence was not the way - even as back home, he has been caught dipping both feet into a swamp of his own making. 

Firstly by mysteriously endorsing BlackRock with one of the sweetest deals ever granted by any Malaysian administration to a foreign company - and rubbing salt into the wound when it is public knowledge BlackRock is a top dealer in violence, a major supplier of deadly arms and weapons to Israel in the war against the Palestine. 

Secondly, by siding with the US as it ramps up anti-China rhetoric in what is not only a battle for control of the South China Seas but an outright bid to stealthily and unscrupulously derail China's growing dominance in trade and advancements in science and technology by the use of war, most foul.

"Malaysian Chinese must be savvy like the Malaysian Muslims. If Anwar and his team are allowed to blunder on, they have to imagine what will happen to their economy, their investments, everything they have worked for without China trade?" an analyst and former head of money at a large international bank told PoliticsNow! 

"Malaysian Chinese must stand up against Anwar and protest against this deal. Don't be fooled by Anwar's talk of joining BRICS - how can he when Russia, who is the current chair of BRICS, has already closed the membership because of too much demand by too many nations? And did you notice, Anwar didn't dare approach Russia or President Putin directly - instead he went roundabout to Brazil's President Lula. How ridiculous is that - and another point to note, it was Anwar's Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan who outed him on this hypocrisy but of course in a polite and indirect way since Mohamad Hasan is in Anwar's cabinet," noted the analyst, referring to Mohamad Hasan from the Malay nationalist Umno party, who had objected to the BlackRock deal and is seen as a rising star capable of ousting Anwar.

ASEAN THE NEW EPICENTER OF WHERE WORLD WAR 3 WILL BEGIN?

Indeed, the ambitions of the US in clinging to its political hegemony whether by fair or foul means has wreaked havoc on the global economy, sending ever-rising waves of inflation to torment and regress the ordinary citizens  of the world. Its Europeans allies are the worst hit while Ukraine, allegedly 'sold' by its own leaders for the highest price, lies decimated to rubble, millions of its people forced to seek refuge in other lands with hundreds of thousands of their young and most able men killed and slaughtered in a proxy war they had no say in. All this carnage and suffering while the fat cats of the elite West as epitomized by the BlackRock-type of arms suppliers, weapons wheelers-and-dealers as well as the big-boy oil firms of the US grew unimaginably obese - and yet are still not satiated.

Not surprisingly that that Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock, perhaps over-cushioned by the incredible wealth churned by his firm on the bloodshed of others in the US-Russia-Ukraine conflict and Israel-Palestine war, was spotted flagrantly pitching to the leaders of the last G7 summit about how they could block China's economic corridor BRI or the Belt and Road Initiative by taking over the infrastructure of poor third world countries such as in Africa and developing nations with weak-visioned leaders such as Malaysia.

"Malaysia will become a pawn of America's anti-China strategy. It will be worse if Trump is elected as US president this November," warned Tian.

Indeed Trump was the one who began a slew of aggressive US sanctions against China. His machinations backfired and were so infantile that he actually got the daughter of China telecoms giant Huawei arrested and put into home detention until he lost to Biden. Under the doddering Biden, the US anti-China rhetoric grew even worse and war over Taiwan has become a distinct possibility. 

With Trump likely to return to the saddle, many predict that the epicenter for the outbreak of World War III will not be Ukraine in Europe or the Palestine in the Middle East but in South East Asia, where America has been seen as busy 'buying' the support of the scattered and mostly authoritarian regimes that rule the region. One example is the Philippines, where President Marcos Junior has deep roots with Washington, which flew his late dictator dad Ferdinand away to safety in Hawaii after a people's uprising overthrew his family's rule decades ago.  

THE CHINESE TO FOLLOW THE MALAYS & DUMP 'CANNOT BE TRUSTED' ANWAR?

In a Malaysia that has been dogged by decades of racism and bigotry, Anwar owes his political support mainly to the Malaysian Chinese who voted for him due to his promised reforms to level the social and economic playing fields - which have not only not materialized but he already stands accused of backstabbing them for the sake of gaining the Malay support he desperately craves - yet to no avail.

In the BlackRock deal, Anwar as Finance Minister agreed to an effective 30% stake sale in airports manager MAHB to GIP, a unit of the infamous US asset manager. The RM18 billion takeover of the Malaysian monopoly has triggered widespread bewilderment even among the financial sector since MAHB was making huge profits while GIP's performance has been rated as below par in several countries where it pulled the same stunt, but failed to live up to its promise to remake or rejuvenate the air infrastructure it acquired.    

"I think the eyes of the Malaysian Chinese are wide open shut but they had to give Anwar some honeymoon time since they always said he was the best person to be PM. Now they are not only proven wrong but worse still, he whether directly or indirectly appears to be shifting Malaysia into the anti-China camp. So to them, it's like why vote for him at all. Why not be like the Malay-Muslims who had dumped him for lost these past 20 to 30 years. It will be the sane case of shun him, don't trust him, don't vote for him or his Pakatan Rakyat components including the Chinese-led DAP," the analyst opined.

In the latest by-election at Sungai Bakap in Penang state dominated by Anwar's ruling coalition, his party lost by a thundering majority to a candidate from the opposition. Not only did more Malay votes veer away from Anwar, but a shock plunge in Chinese voter turnout was the real eyeopener.

"The writing is on the wall. Malay votes have rushed out and it's now time for the Chinese exodus away from Anwar and DAP - whether the Chinese support will go to other parties or manifest in the form of boycotting elections, it will happen," warns the analyst.
