BOMBSHELL - DO MALAYS WANT 'APEKS' IN SHORTS TEACHING THEIR CHILDREN THE QURAN? - THEN STOP VOTING FOR 'ANWAR & HIS GOONS' AT PELANGAI - SANUSI TELLS MALAYS TO STOP THE 'SIN' OF ZAHID - DEMAND DAP'S HOWARD LEE BE PUNISHED, LIKE HOW INDONESIANS THREW AHOK INTO JAIL?

BOMBSHELL - DO MALAYS WANT 'APEKS' IN SHORTS TEACHING THEIR CHILDREN THE QURAN? - THEN STOP VOTING FOR 'ANWAR & HIS GOONS' AT PELANGAI, SANUSI TELLS MALAYS - STOP THE SIN OF ZAHID &  THROW DAP'S HOWARD LEE INTO JAIL LIKE WHAT INDONESIANS DID TO AHOK?

KUALA LUMPUR (Politics Now!) - Stop the sin of Zahid, make sure Umno and thereby 'Anwar and his goons' lose at Pelangai, or '10 years from now, you might see an apek wearing shorts teaching us the Quran',  Kedah MB Sanusi Md Nor warns Malays.

The rising PAS star, seen by many conservative Malays as a prime-minister-in-waiting and almost ripe to oust and take over the top spot from the weak Anwar Ibrahim, was speaking at a late-night 'ceramah' or rally on the eve of the Pelangai by-election nomination day today.

"The sin of this growing liberalism influencing our younger generation is on Zahid. And Zahid could become the Umno president because Umno delegates voted for him," Malaysiakini reported Sanusi as saying..

"If you want to stop this sin, you must support PN. So we can stop this madness by Zahid and Anwar and prevent them from liberalising everything because of their lust for power.

"We may not see the effect today. But if you do not protest against this rudeness (by Howard Lee, the DAP MP for Ipoh Timor), maybe 10 years from now, you might see an 'apek' wearing shorts teaching us the Quran in the mosque."

EVEN AHOK WAS THROWN BEHIND BARS

Lee had allegedly used his own interpretation of a Quranic verse on TikTok, infuriating conservative Muslims and is due to be questioned by the police over the incident.

According to Sanusi, this was an insult to Islam as Lee is not a Muslim and has no expertise in interpreting the holy book.

The Kedah MB recounted how the Muslims in Indonesia had staged massive nationwide protests when Ahok, the former governor of Jakarta who is a non-Muslim, had quoted a Quranic verse during his campaign in 2016. It ended with Ahok being charged in court and thrown into jail.

"However, in Malaysia when Anwar becomes the prime minister (it is the other way around). When an ustaz criticised (Lee) for interpreting a Quranic verse, the ustaz was called by the police. This is why I am angry.

"Do not let BN win (in Pelangai). If BN wins again, it will signal to Anwar and his goons that what they are doing now is right," Sanusi added.

The Pelangai seat in Umno-controlled Pahang state fell vacant after Umno assemblyman and exco member Johari Harun died in the plane crash near Bandar Elmina in Shah Alam on Aug 17.

The three contestants nominated to stand for the by-election due to be balloted on October 7 are Umno's Amizar Abu Adam, PN’s Kasim Samat and independent candidate Haslihelmy DM Zulhasli.
